Casey is a professional clarinetist based in Los Angeles. Raised in a musical family, he was introduced to music at a young age, starting with piano at 6 years old and later moving on to clarinet at age 11. He attended California State University, Northridge (CSUN), graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance.
A skilled and versatile performer, Casey has performed in many different environments, both as a soloist and as a member of ensembles large and small. While attending CSUN, he was in multiple chamber ensembles and was the principal clarinetist for both the CSUN Symphony Orchestra and the CSUN Wind Ensemble. His solo performances include masterclasses where he had the opportunity to perform for and learn from different artists.
He has also studied and performed out of state, participating in the Wind Ensemble and Orchestra at the University of Minnesota.
Casey loves learning new and challenging pieces and pushing what can be done with the clarinet. He hopes to pass on this passion to his students, as well as give them the knowledge and skill to be successful musicians.
