Nico
Guitar | Drum | Piano Music Production Instructor
Nico is a Los Angeles-based professional guitarist, pianist, and music producer, graduated from California State University, Northridge, where he studied classical guitar with Professor Bryan Fasola and played in many of the school’s renowned ensembles as both a guitarist and vocalist. He also sang as a baritone in the school’s premiere of a capella group, CSUN Acasola.
Hailing from San Luis Obispo, CA, he developed his passion for music at a young age, playing piano and drum kit before discovering a love for the guitar. He began to play with bands and as a solo musician in his teen years before moving to study music in Los Angeles.
Through his studies at Cal State Northridge, Nico discovered a passion for recording and music production, excelling in all music technology courses. He eventually interned with music producer, Damon Castillo and has been an avid producer since, winning competitions and collaborating with many artists.
The child of two passionate educators, Nico first began teaching as a high school student to interested friends and acquaintances before moving on to more formal education institutions in his years as a university student. He has taught students of all ages, backgrounds, and musical interests, and loves to see his students grow and develop their musical talents.
