Tal Katz began her musical education at the age of 8 in Israel. By the age of 12, she became a regular recipient of Israel's most prestigious Creative Excellence Grant (Sharett) award and she was invited to join the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and granted access to chamber music coaching and masterclasses with world-renowned musicians Janos Starker, Ralph Kirshenbaum, Miriam Fried, Guy Braunstein (concertmaster of Berlin Philharmonic), and Tabea Zimmerman.
She has performed and recorded in venues such as The Troubadour, Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theater (REDCAT) at Walt Disney Concert Hall and Capitol Records.
Tal recently graduated from California Institute of the Arts in cello performance and composition. She has a real passion for education and is a motivated and enthusiast educator for kids and adults
